This page is meant to store and share the evolution of my forthcoming book about the Rwenzoris

 

The book will be hardcover and Large Format Landscape 13×11 inches (33×28 centimeters).

Availability will be around end of July through this page.

Different versions shall show the evolution of the book and will be used to get feedback from friends to improve the book.

The first print has arrived and the pictures have been checked for quality and how they look in the real thing. Additionally one more trusted reviewer gave valuable input.

What are the major changes?

Back Cover: small picture was changed to bring more color to the back cover

Three double spreads disapeared. Two for technical reasons in the source file, they could not bring the sharpness and crispness needed. The other (lobelias in cloud) did not work in print. The grey was just to dull. The changes are more or less all resulting from this fact.

Moreover I tried to bring more pictures in, which differ as much as possible from the others but fit into the storyline.

the availability is pushed towards end of July, as I will do a second test print before I make the book available.

Rwenzori - Africa's Mountain Wilderness, this is the version for the testprint.

 

Pictures are color corrected for the printer, output sharpened and trimmed. Color my appear a bit oversaturated depending on screen and color settings of your computer.
