Lions are known as hunters of the steppe and grasslands in Africa. Thats where and how most of the pictures of lions are made. Some populations however climb regularly big trees to have a rest up there.

Since yesterday we are back from the Rwenzori Mountain Expedition. Three weeks in remote valleys of the Rwenzori Mountains have been a real challenge not only in terms of photography.
