Great White Pelicans flying over the Danube Delta

One of my goals during my weeks in the Danube Delta has been to photograph Great White Pelicans. It was a very impressive experience to observe the communal fishing of hundreds of Pelicans and thousands of Cormorants in the Danube Delta.
It is amazing how these species communicate to organize such fishings.
For everybody who is interested. Pelicans in the Danube Delta have a flight distance of about 40m and their breeding grounds are strictly off limits.
You must calcualte several days to observe pelicans especially if you are interested in mass fishings. On some days we looked for hours to find a single bird.
Best period is July and August. Earlier in the year they stay close to there breeding grounds (off limits).
